The Peschiera Model

A new standard of excellence in the management of large public works.

We have developed a management approach that places transparency and the safeguarding of the local area at its centre, creating what we now call the Peschiera Model.

Legality and Transparency
The construction of the infrastructure has been governed by stringent protocols to ensure the utmost integrity at every stage.

To this end, we have signed a legality protocol with the Prefecture of Rieti for anti-mafia monitoring and the prevention of criminal infiltration.

Our active collaboration with the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) enables us to ensure transparent procedures.

Workplace Safety

The Peschiera Model also extends to workplace safety, with standards that exceed regulatory requirements to protect the workers and technicians involved in one of Europe’s most innovative construction sites.

Sustainability and Resilience

Technological innovation at the service of the environment and local communities.

The New Peschiera Aqueduct is not only an engineering undertaking, but also an engine of shared value.

Water Resilience
It guarantees full service continuity, eliminating the risk of emergencies caused by faults or seismic events.

Energy efficiency
Thanks to its gravity-fed conveyance, the infrastructure minimises its carbon footprint, drastically reducing its energy requirements.

Environmental protection
Continuous monitoring of the springs and soil to preserve the ecological balance of Sabina and the Rieti area.
